Our mom died in February and she wanted Yates to handle everything. Unfortunately we were not notified before she was taken to the default funeral home in this area, where everything that could possibly be mishandled was. We contacted Eli and he and his staff went above and beyond taking over the process. They made everything easy and seamless and were extremely patient with our many, MANY questions. It is obvious how much they care about providing the best possible service to people who are going through a very difficult time. STRONGLY recommend.

I recently decided to purchase a prearranged memorial service for myself from Yates Funeral Home, due to them being highly recommended from friends and very credible sources within the community. Throughout the process I was greeted warmly and treated professionally and respectfully by each person I met. I worked with Craig, whom does the prearranged sales and he was very professional, respectful, patient, caring, kind, extremely knowledgeable, informative, competent, selfless, timely, responsive and very easy to talk to about this subject and the entire process. He is a man of impeccable character with a great amount of humility and I hold Yates and Craig in very high regard. They are professionals that definitely seem to truly care about people. Definitely thankful that Yates and Craig are here in North Idaho, that I met them and purchased my service through them. I am comfortable and confident that my loved ones and I will be treated with respect, compassion and dignity, whenever God takes me home. All of the Yates Funeral Home staff were so kind and understanding when we experienced the sudden loss of a loved one. Sarah took us through each step of the process with care. We were given wonderful suggestions and insights into our options but never felt rushed into decisions. Eli was very professional and helpful when coordinating the graveside ceremony, we felt well cared for as we grieved with family and friends. While it's been a very difficult time in our lives, we are grateful for their compassionate care and would highly recommend Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene.

Yates did an amazing job with our family funeral. I would trust their staff to handle any spectrum of situations with empathy, respect, and professionalism. Eli and his staff communicate like professionals about what is going on and constantly inform family members. They seem to really read a room and a situation perfectly. Nobody wants to make a living being there for other people’s sad events every day, but Eil seems to be a natural.

The staff at Yates Funeral Home went above and beyond in helping my family honor Dad. Our Dad's death, funeral and graveside services all took place in Lewiston, Idaho. Although Lewiston is 120 miles from Coeur d'Alene, Dad's service was perfect. We highly recommend Eli and his staff to assist you with your funeral needs. From all the Fairfields, thank you!

I highly recommend Yates. My experience there and working with Chris Johnson was a true blessing to me and the sorrow I was going through. Chris is very professional, understanding, and helpful. Chris has gone out of his way to make our emotional grieving time easier with a caring loving heart. I highly recommend Chris, a Christian, honest, caring man who will go beyond For you and your love one. He's a man with integrity and a caring heart.
